 Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006)
IMDB rating: 6.90
Plot: Manny (Ray Romano), Sid (John Leguizamo), and Diego (Denis Leary) are currently living in a large valley surrounded by an enormously high ice wall on all sides. When a waterpark begins to form, the trio discovers that the ice wall is actually a wall that is barely holding a massive body of water that could flood the valley to nearly a mile underwater. A vulture tells them that there is a boat at the other end of the valley that may save them all, but they only have 3 days to make it or die. Manny is having trouble facing the fact that he may be the last mammoth left. Along the way, they meet Ellie (Queen Latifah), a mammoth who thinks she is a possum, and her possum brothers Crash (Sean William Scott) and Eddie (Josh Peck). As they begin to travel together, Manny learns, with help from Diego and Sid, that having this new mammoth with them, may not be as bad as Manny makes it out to be while they try to escape the oncoming and continually threatening flood. During their journey, Scrat the sabre-toothed squirrel has his own hilarious adventures that eventually leads to something else entirely.

 Shrooms (2006)
IMDB rating: 6.80
Plot: Having been promised the ‘trip’ of a lifetime by their Irish friend and mushroom expert Jake, a group of American teenagers arrives in Ireland, keen for adventure. Despite Jake’s warnings about the ’shrooms they shouldn’t eat, things start to go horribly wrong and the teenagers suffer horrific visions. The panicked friends are attacked by ghostly creatures, never sure whether they are experiencing gruesome reality or startling hallucinations. As the group is bloodily whittled down to one, it is soon clear that, whether or not these apparitions are real, the carnage they leave behind certainly is.

legality of cubensis mushrooms?
the constitution article 6 says that internation treaties carry the same legal weight as the constitution and preclude state statutes, We have a treaty with the UN which describes The drug schedules almost verbatim to our state laws, the un is in charge of clarifying and the law, their veiw is that Mushrooms fresh dry or powdered are legal. I have a pending case of possession, involving a defacto arrest where I was misidentified in a rape case (they caught the guy an hour later) but pulled me over at gun point and handcuffed me searched me and found what they thought was marijuana at first but then decided it was shrooms, I didnt say much to the police other than this is unconstitutional, and I dont want to be searched. I dont think anyone has fought their case on these grounds before (the power or the UN treaty) and if the courts arent receptive can I remove the case to federal court, also I just moved to the state so personal jurisdiction is an issue, and I want the judge to rule on the legality of them so I can get them back, I know marketing the mushrooms as a drug is illegal under the food drug and cosmetic act btw. Any other ramifications that come to mind? I want to hear from you legal pros on this.
I’m guessing you’d need to pay for the kind of specific answers you seek here.
Good luck… I think a Judge isn’t going to want to spend a lot of time on this.

Help with Recoil Velocity, please?
The lead female character in the movie Diamonds Are Forever is standing at the edge of an offshore oil rig. As she fires a gun, she is driven back over the edge and into the sea. Suppose the mass of a bullet is 0.007 kg, and its velocity is +707 m/s. Her mass (including the gun) is 49 kg.
(a) What recoil velocity does she acquire in response to a single shot from a stationary position, assuming that no external force keeps her in place?
(b) Under the same assumption, what would be her recoil velocity if, instead, she shoots a blank cartridge that ejects a mass of 5.0 * 10^-4 kg at a velocity of +707 m/s?

Why do men hang upside down?
As a child I always saw my dad hanging upside down. He even had a bar installed in the hallway where he could do pullups and hang upside down by those ankle things with hooks on them. What was that about? He did bodybuilding and MMA and that crazy mind over matter stuff. Does it have something to do with that?
Even the character Dale from King of The Hill does it. Should I start hanging upside-down too?
he did some situps and stuff, but he mostly just would hang there letting hisface turn beet red. I think it was just about the hanging.
LOL WHAT
Yeah, it’s to build upper body strength and it can work on your abdominals? That’d kill my head, hanging upside down ;\ I wouldn’t recommend it.
Kath | Feb 06, 2010
I can’t say I’ve ever done that… but I am also very lazy…
Karl | Feb 06, 2010
You don’t just hang there, you’re supposed to do situps from there. Hanging upside down for extended periods of time won’t do anything beside make blood rush to your head.

 Grind (2003)
IMDB rating: 5.00
Plot: While the rest of his high school graduating class is heading to the same old grind of college, skateboarder Eric Rivers and his best friends, Dustin, a goal-oriented workaholic, and misfit slacker Matt have one last summer roadtrip together to follow their dream of getting noticed by the professional skateboarding world—and getting paid to skate. When skating legend Jimmy Wilson’s skate demo tour hits town, the boys figure that as soon as he sees their fierce tricks, he’ll sign them up for his renowned skate team immediately, right? Unfortunately, the guys are intercepted by Jimmy’s road manager and they can’t get their foot in the door, much less their boards. But they do get some free advice: keep skating, stay true to yourself, and stay in the game—if you’re good, you’ll get noticed. Following their dream— and Jimmy’s national tour—Eric, Dustin and Matt start their own skate team, reluctantly sponsored by Dustin and his college fund. After recruiting laid-back ladies man Sweet Lou to join their crew and provide the wheels for their tour, team Super Duper launches the ride of their lives in an outrageous road trip from Chi-town to Santa Monica. The professional scene doesn’t exactly welcome nobody skaters, but these outsiders stick together through extreme misadventures. In their quest to go pro, they meet professional vert skating champions Bucky Lasek, Bob Burnquist and Pierre Luc Gagnon, skate pro Bam Margera and his crew Preston Lacy, Ehren Danger McGhehey and Jason Wee Man Acuna, as well as sexy skate chick Jamie as they grind handrails across America and force the skateboarding world to give ‘em a piece of the action.

In Thelma and Louise, Do you think Louise was right to shoot the rapist?
Or should she have left it to the law? And why do you feel this way?
Louise was close enough that she could have — and maybe should have — just winged him like in the arm — enough to stop him cold in his tracks. He would have maybe been disabled for life and/or reminded of the incident for the rest of his days.

Is it possible to save variables in a batch file for later use?
I’m trying to write a batch file to help some of my friends and family who are somewhat computer illiterate get around on their system. I don’t think what I want to do is possible, but here’s my idea: upon initially running the file (opening it for the first time on the particular computer) they will be asked for their name and a few other things (via the set command, I already have that worked out) and then, have their specific information saved so that when they close the file and run it later, they will not have to enter the information again. For example, I save the file to their computer via a jump drive, they run it for the first time and it asks for their name. They input their name, close the file, and when they open it tomorrow it will immediately be able to say "hi bob." I don’t really think this is possible, but the only way I can think of to make it plausible would be to use the ‘call’ command. For example, if somehow, after they enter their name, the batch file could call another batch file, tell it to save %name% as bob, and then later when reopened have the first line calling vis.bat. The first time the file is run, it would still call vis.bat, but it would be empty except for @echo off and it would immediately move on the information input. If it is possible for the main batch file to automatically save the ’set /p name=bob’ command into the secondary file, then it could also save the ‘goto :mainpage’ command, causing the main file to skip the lines asking for the name. That’s just my theory, only thing I don’t know is if I can make the main batch file save those commands into the second one. I know you can make a time log, so it seems logical. Any help is appreciated. ~Jessica.
Too much information.
There are to ways: the unsafe way, and the safe(r) way.
1: Save a variable into a text file, or
2: allocate memory in the computer for variables.
Both 1 and 2 are practically the same thing, but unless you use method 1 and specifically designate and area for a file to be saved into, 2 is the best option.
Good Luck!
